About the CLAIR
The International Conference on Leadership & AI in Research convenes senior leaders, researchers, and strategists from research-intensive industries to address one of the defining challenges of the coming decade: how artificial intelligence is reshaping the foundations of research, engineering, and innovation — and what this means for leadership, governance, and organizational design.
A Founders’ Perspective
The rapid progress of artificial intelligence has introduced profound changes to research-intensive work, yet systematic dialogue on its implications remains limited. Questions concerning the scientific and engineering method, governance and accountability in human – AI systems, the preservation of critical thinking, and the organizational conditions of research are often treated separately, if at all.
CLAIR was established to integrate these perspectives. The conference provides a structured forum for examining how AI reshapes discovery, decision-making, and responsibility across industries. By fostering cross-disciplinary reflection, CLAIR aims to strengthen leadership capability and epistemic rigor in AI-enabled research environments.
